Why should I buy Palestinian olive oil?
Palestinian olive oil is rooted in resilience and struggle. It represents centuries-old traditions and resistance against an ongoing occupation.
Palestinian olive oil also contains a strong and peppery taste. It has many health benefits including a high number of polyphenols.
Where does our olive oil come from?
Our olive trees come from our family farm in Aroura in the West Bank of Palestine, located 15 miles north of Jerusalem. The land is taken care of, and the olives are harvested by our family. We import the olive oil and bottle it locally.
Is your olive oil organic?
Yes! Our olives are grown using traditional farming techniques without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We use techniques such as horses to plow the land and sheep manure as fertilizers to ensure the sustainability and care taken when farming.
During harvest, our olives are hand-picked rather than shaken from the tree. We use the first cold-press of the olives in our olive oil and do not add any additives or additional oils to the olive oil. This ensures the organic quality of our olive oil.
How does shipping work?
We currently offer flat-rate shipping of $4.90 on orders below $60. Orders $60 and above enjoy free shipping!
If you are near the Raleigh, NC area, we offer local delivery as an option based on your shipping address.
We will attempt to prepare and ship orders within 7-9 business days; however, since we are a family-run business, orders may be delayed. If you need an order by a specific time, we recommend stating it in the instructions, and we will work to send it out sooner or offer a refund if we are unable.
